Unlike traditional wired alarm systems that use analogue loops with limited intelligence, Fibra is a digital protocol. Each device on the bus has its own address, firmware updates over the wire, tamper detection, and bidirectional communication. The result is 4x faster communication than wireless Jeweller, no range limitations (up to 2,000 m per bus line), and immunity to radio interference. Combined with the Ajax app and cloud platform, Fibra brings wired installations into the modern era.
